e-Carpark is a self-service planning, registration and delivery system which automates, simplifies and speeds up planning, evidence and dealing with shared business vehicles.
It allows automation of business journey planning in standard condition, evidence of business vehicles, their current technical status, vehicle safety test date, speedometer status and recording of their technical faults. Most importantly, e-Carpark enables self-service registration and allocation process of shared business vehicles among individual drivers even outside business working hours.
There are lockable safety boxes used for vehicle handover which are operated directly with e-Carpark application. They store all vehicle documents, company car key or other required things.
Evidence and authorization of specific persons who deal with vehicles is solved by RFID staff cards.
From hardware point of view, it´s necessary to add also lockable boxes to information e-KIOSK, which are operated by RFID staff card with relevant authorization.
A member of staff can login to the application with their RFID staff card. Information about assigned vehicle, details about planned business journey and box number will display on e-kiosk monitor. The box with car key and documents will open after member of staff confirms this.
There is similar evidence process of returning vehicle, when member of staff needs to record information about their business journey completion, their vehicle status and they put the key and all documents to the relevant safety box, which will be automatically locked. If there is no fault recorded, vehicle will be automatically ready for the next driver.
